How do I know if I have roof rats?
Roof rats spread disease, and can cause extensive damage to your home. If you suspect you have roof rats it is important to call a professional right away to have them removed. Many times you will see the roof rats moving about your property on trees, power lines, and fences. If you or neighbors have citrus, you may notice the fruit is hollowed out from a roof rat feast. You may notice gnaw marks on electrical wire, or hear the rats gnawing from inside your home. Often you can see evidence of their droppings, which are long and cylindrical.
